Best Marketing Agencies for Moving Companies (2026)

By · Published · Last updated

The best marketing agency for most moving companies is Marketers for Movers: movers-only for more than a decade, with its SEO tiers published in full — Starter $500/month, Lite $1,700/month, Full $2,900/month — and a plain statement that its SEO is month-to-month with "no binding contract." Rotate Digital is the stronger pick if organic search is the whole plan and you want a movers-only SEO shop with the largest published base of mover clients. Mover Marketing AI and Mover Search Marketing are the specialists publishing paid-search terms. Lead marketplaces are deliberately not ranked here: renting shared leads builds you no asset. Every agency below was verified against its own live website in September 2026.

Full disclosure

No agency paid for placement on this list, and there are no affiliate links or referral fees on this page. Karbon Agency publishes this list and appears on it; we are placed by the same score as everyone else, and on several of our lists that means we are not first.

The ranking, side by side

Ranked by the score below, which is explained in full under “How we ranked these”. The pricing and lock-in columns are the reason this page exists — almost no other list in this category will tell you what these agencies charge.

  • Movers-only since 2010, as a division of the Ottaway agency, with named moving-company testimonials on its site and web, PPC, social, video and review management alongside SEO

Considerations

  • No client count is published, and the proof is testimonials rather than numbered case studies
  • The published tiers are for SEO; PPC and web design are quoted separately

Pricing: Published: SEO Starter $500/mo · Lite $1,700/mo · Full $2,900/mo · LLM Booster +$85/mo · Lock-in: None for SEO — "our SEO services are month-to-month"

  • Honest about timelines: its own FAQ says rankings typically take 4 to 7 months to improve significantly

  • No contract terms are published, and the client count and rating are self-reported

Pricing: Published: SEO from $1,500/month · Lock-in: Not published

Considerations

  • No proof is published — no founder, founding year, client count or review rating
  • Landing-page hosting ends with PPC management unless you continue it separately

6.

Karbon Agency

61/100That’s us — see disclosure above

  • Published intro tiers starting at $500/month, so you know the cost before the first call

Considerations

  • Small, newer team — we don't have a decade-deep case-study library yet
  • Not a moving specialist — the movers-only shops above know seasonality, long-distance vs local economics and the FMCSA advertising rules in more depth

Pricing: Published: intro tiers from $500/month · Lock-in: None — month-to-month

Best for: larger movers with a real SEO budget that want a big home-services agency with no term contract

  • No term contract — "We won't handcuff you for a specific amount of time. Ever."

How we ranked these

Every agency is scored out of 100 across five weighted dimensions. The weights are fixed across every list on this site, so a 78 here means the same thing as a 78 on any other niche.

  1. Niche specialization30 points

How much of the agency's actual business is this one industry. A shop that works only in this niche scores full marks; a generalist that lists it among twenty verticals scores about half.

  2. Pricing transparency20 points

Does it publish what it charges on its own website. Full marks for real numbers you can read before a sales call, partial for a published budget framework or starting-at figure, zero for "contact us".

  3. Proof and reviews20 points

Verifiable evidence on its own site: years in business, client counts, named case studies, third-party review counts, Google/Meta partner badges. Unsourced hype counts for nothing.

  4. Service fit20 points

Whether the service mix matches what this industry actually needs to get customers, rather than what is easiest to sell.

  5. Contract flexibility10 points

Month-to-month terms and client ownership of the website, ad accounts and data score highest; undisclosed or multi-year terms score lowest.

Every agency here was checked against its own live website. Pricing, contract terms, client counts and review counts are only stated where the agency publishes them — everything else is recorded as "not published" rather than guessed at. Scores are ours, they are subjective, and the rubric above is published so you can disagree with them.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the best marketing agency for moving companies?

Marketers for Movers, on our rubric: movers-only since 2010, a full published SEO rate card from $500/month, and month-to-month SEO. Rotate Digital is the pick for a pure local-SEO programme; Mover Marketing AI for Google Search ads with published terms; Mover Search Marketing for Local Services Ads plus SEO; Movers Development if you want an instant quote calculator on the site.

What must an interstate mover include in its ads?

The FMCSA sets it out in 49 CFR 375.207. Advertisements must be "truthful, straightforward, and honest", and every ad for interstate household goods transportation must carry your name or trade name as it appears on your U.S. DOT number assignment, plus the U.S. DOT number itself, displayed only in the form "U.S. DOT No. (assigned number)." That applies to Google Ads, Meta ads, landing pages and print alike. If an agency's ad templates drop the DOT number to save characters, they are writing non-compliant ads for you.

Are moving lead companies the same as a marketing agency?

No. Lead marketplaces such as Network Leads sell the same inquiry to several movers — its own published tiers are shared with up to four movers from $15 a local lead, shared with two from $28, and exclusive from $45 — which is why the phone race starts the second a lead lands. That can fill a truck this week, but you rent every lead and build no website authority, reviews or customer list of your own. We do not rank lead marketplaces on this list for that reason. An agency is slower to start and leaves you with assets you keep.

Can moving companies use Google Local Services Ads?

Yes. Google lists "Moving services" as a Local Services Ads category in the United States. Mover Search Marketing publishes its LSA management terms (around $500 setup, 20% of monthly spend, and at least $2,000/month in spend), and Mover Marketing AI coordinates LSA alongside Google Search campaigns. Ask any agency offering LSA to report booked moves from it separately from regular Google Ads, so you can see which channel is actually paying.

What does moving company marketing cost?

More movers-only agencies publish figures than in most niches. Marketers for Movers charges $500, $1,700 or $2,900/month for SEO. Rotate Digital starts SEO at $1,500/month. Mover Marketing AI starts PPC management at $597/month with a $3,000/month Google Search spend minimum. Mover Search Marketing charges 20% of spend for LSA management. Blue Corona says its moving clients typically invest $2,500–$20,000/month in SEO. Karbon publishes intro tiers from $500/month. Budget the management fee and the ad spend as two separate lines. What moving company marketing costs →

What should a mover ask a marketing agency before signing?

Five things. Will every interstate ad and landing page carry our U.S. DOT number in the required format. Who owns the website, domain, ad accounts and Google Business Profile if we part. What is the notice period in writing — Marketers for Movers, Mover Marketing AI and Blue Corona are the only ones here publishing terms. Do you track booked moves and revenue, or just leads. And do you report local and long-distance jobs separately, since their economics differ enormously.

Should a moving company hire an agency or an in-house marketer?

A single-market mover rarely has enough work for a senior full-time marketer, so in-house hires skew junior — and a junior cannot run compliant paid search, local SEO and review management equally well. Agencies spread senior specialists across the account. In-house begins to win once you run several markets or a long-distance operation with a sales team large enough to feed.
