Best Marketing Agencies for Weight Loss Clinics (2026)

By · Published · Last updated

The best marketing agency for most weight loss clinics is Sagapixel: healthcare-only, a Google Premier Partner, with a dedicated GLP-1 practice publishing case figures such as an $81 cost per lead for semaglutide, and month-to-month contracts. PilotPractice is the close second — medical-only, 150+ practices managed, and "no setup fees and no long-term lock-ins." If you want a published price before any call, PatientGain is the only healthcare specialist here that posts one. No generalist is ready for this niche by default: Meta and Google both restrict prescription-drug advertising and require LegitScript certification for telehealth, so ask any agency how it handles that before you sign. Every company below was verified against its own live website in September 2026.

Full disclosure

No agency paid for placement on this list, and there are no affiliate links or referral fees on this page. Karbon Agency publishes this list and appears on it; we are placed by the same score as everyone else, and on several of our lists that means we are not first.

How we ranked these

Every agency is scored out of 100 across five weighted dimensions. The weights are fixed across every list on this site, so a 78 here means the same thing as a 78 on any other niche.

  1. Niche specialization30 points

How much of the agency's actual business is this one industry. A shop that works only in this niche scores full marks; a generalist that lists it among twenty verticals scores about half.

  2. Pricing transparency20 points

Does it publish what it charges on its own website. Full marks for real numbers you can read before a sales call, partial for a published budget framework or starting-at figure, zero for "contact us".

  3. Proof and reviews20 points

Verifiable evidence on its own site: years in business, client counts, named case studies, third-party review counts, Google/Meta partner badges. Unsourced hype counts for nothing.

  4. Service fit20 points

Whether the service mix matches what this industry actually needs to get customers, rather than what is easiest to sell.

  5. Contract flexibility10 points

Month-to-month terms and client ownership of the website, ad accounts and data score highest; undisclosed or multi-year terms score lowest.

Every agency here was checked against its own live website. Pricing, contract terms, client counts and review counts are only stated where the agency publishes them — everything else is recorded as "not published" rather than guessed at. Scores are ours, they are subjective, and the rubric above is published so you can disagree with them.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the best marketing agency for weight loss clinics?

Sagapixel, on our rubric: healthcare-only, Google Premier Partner, a dedicated GLP-1 practice and month-to-month contracts. PilotPractice is a close second with 150+ medical practices and no lock-ins. PatientGain is the pick if you want a published price and an all-in-one HIPAA platform; Healthcare Success for multi-location networks; Geek Powered Studios for a published full-service retainer if you can commit to 6–12 months.

Can a weight loss clinic advertise semaglutide or tirzepatide on Facebook?

Only with authorisation. Meta's policy on drugs and pharmaceuticals states that "Meta requires online pharmacies and telehealth providers to be actively certified with LegitScript", and once certified they must request authorisation from Meta. Authorised advertisers may only target people 18 or older, in eligible countries — the United States, Canada or New Zealand — where they are certified. A clinic that runs GLP-1 ads without this is risking its ad account, not just the campaign.

What does Meta restrict in weight loss ads?

Beyond prescription drugs, Meta's health and wellness standard says ads "promoting or marketing dietary, health, or weight loss or weight gain products and services must be targeted to people at least 18 years or older." It also prohibits ads containing "statements of inferiority about physical appearance" — copy that attacks a person's appearance or body parts. An agency that leads with body-shaming hooks is writing ads Meta will reject.

Can a clinic run Google Ads for GLP-1 prescriptions?

Only after applying. Google's healthcare and medicines policy states that "advertisers must apply to serve ads for prescription drug services" and that Google "restricts the use of prescription drug terms in ads, landing pages, and keywords" — brand names such as Ozempic, Wegovy or Mounjaro are prescription drug terms. In the United States, telemedicine providers must be accredited through LegitScript's Healthcare Merchant Certification Program. Ask any agency whether your account is certified before it builds a single GLP-1 keyword list.

What does weight loss clinic marketing cost?

Few agencies publish figures. PatientGain's weight loss page publishes two ranges, $1,399–$1,999 and $1,699–$2,499 a month. Geek Powered Studios starts full service at $3,500/month on 6–12 month terms. Karbon publishes intro tiers from $500/month. Sagapixel, PilotPractice, MedStar Media, Medical Marketing Firm, Healthcare Success, Citrus Ridge, Target Patients MD and GoGlow Media quote after a call. Budget the management fee and the ad spend as two separate lines. What weight loss clinic marketing costs →

What should a weight loss clinic ask a marketing agency before signing?

Five things. Is our Meta and Google account LegitScript-certified and authorised for prescription-drug ads, and who manages that. Will our ad copy name drugs, and has that been cleared under Google's and Meta's rules. Who owns the website, domain, ad accounts and patient CRM data if we part — and is that CRM HIPAA-compliant. What is the notice period in writing. And will you report booked consultations and started programmes, not just leads.

Should a weight loss clinic hire an agency or an in-house marketer?

A single clinic rarely has enough work for a senior full-time marketer, and a junior hire is unlikely to know the prescription-drug ad rules, LegitScript and HIPAA-compliant lead handling all at once. Agencies spread senior specialists across the account. In-house begins to win for multi-location networks with a steady content and campaign load. We wrote out the full math.
