Advantage+ Audience
Also known as: Advantage Plus Audience, Advantage+ Targeting
Advantage+ audience is Meta's AI-driven targeting that treats your audience inputs as suggestions and expands delivery to likely converters.
What it actually means
Advantage+ audience inverts traditional targeting. Instead of hard boundaries — only these interests, only these ages — you provide audience signals as suggestions, and Meta's AI starts there but goes wherever conversion data points, prioritizing people it predicts will act. It is the successor to manual interest-stacking and reflects the platform's broader bet: the algorithm, fed good conversion signals, finds buyers better than hand-built filters do. In most head-to-head tests it wins. The exceptions are strict legal or brand constraints, where hard limits still apply. Location remains a real constraint you control, which is what keeps the approach viable for geographically bound businesses.
For a local business, Advantage+ audience works fine as long as your geographic radius is set — let Meta figure out who within 10 miles wants a massage; you just make sure it stays within 10 miles.
